Infrastructure presentation:
St. Croix Crossing Bridge (2017) replaced the aging and congested Stillwater Lift Bridge, improving traffic flow and safety.
The historic Lift Bridge was restored and converted into a pedestrian and bike-only crossing by 2020, now part of a scenic 5-mile loop trail.
Chestnut Street, formerly MN-36 through downtown, was redesigned as a pedestrian plaza, enhancing walkability and riverfront access.
