Gary Ostrom Memorial Scholarship 2026-2027
Gary started with Great River Energy (fka United Power Association) in 1979 as a land agent in the land rights department and progressed to supervisor and then manager of the department until his retirement in July, 2009. Gary was extremely proud to work for the company. Gary was also very proud of the International Right of Way Association as he was an active member of Region 3, Chapter 20 where he earned the SR/WA designation, served on various committees and progressed through the rankings to President of Chapter 20 in 1995 and won awards for his work related to the IRWA.
In the spirit of stewardship, lifelong learning and generosity exemplified by the charter members of Chapter 20 of the International Right of Way Association (IRWA), the IRWA Chapter 20 College Outreach Program seeks to change and improve people’s lives by making education more accessible to young people.
